Teleclass FAQs

Q. What exactly is a “teleclass?” 

A. A teleclass is a seminar, course or workshop that takes place over the phone. 

Q. What are the benefits of a teleclass?

A. The teleclass format allows people from different places and with different schedules to come together to learn specific information.  The group format can be very helpful in sharing experiences. 

Q. Who would benefit from this course?

A.  Anyone who wants to focus more on their strengths will benefit, e.g., people in transition, people considering a career change, people who are looking for an adjunct to therapy or coaching or those who just want to work toward reaching their full potential.

Q. Wouldn’t it be better in person?

A. Meeting face-to-face is certainly very effective and preferred by some people.  However, a teleclass can be interactive like an in person group, is cost-effective and convenient for those who do not wish to travel to a class. 

Q. Will I receive any materials beforehand?

A.  Yes.  Registered participants will receive a participant’s guide that includes information for the course, exercises to complete and space to take notes.   You will receive materials before each call.  We will recommend that you either print out the participant’s guide or have it in front of you on your computer screen to follow along during the course. 

Q. Will there be many other people on the call?

A. We are capping enrollment at 20 to maximize each person’s experience.

Q. How will my individual issues be addressed?

A. There will be time for group discussion on every call.  In addition, we use an innovative approach and pair participants to do activities on individual phone lines.   The facilitators will share helpful information that you will be able to apply to your own life right on the call and in between sessions. 

Q. What number will I call?

A.  When you receive the participant manual and materials, you will also receive the conference call phone numbers.  Please note that regular long-distance rates will apply to these calls.
